Our mission is to:

make Czech cuisine lighter

Inspired by Nouvelle cuisine or the New Nordic cuisine, we build on the solid foundations and flavors of our national cooking with the aim to lighten it and develop it in line with today’s needs and possibilities.

NOVÁ ČESKÁ cuisine stands on high-quality local and seasonal ingredients and modern techniques. With respect for history, we cook for the future.

We connect professionals across the gastronomic scene and related fields. We are building a community of people who have a close relationship to Czech cuisine, want to strengthen its roots, and understand its importance.

Together, we inspire change, create meaningful projects, share experiences, and learn from one another.

At the same time, we emphasize education – not only for ourselves but also for the younger generations to whom we will one day pass the baton. We want to highlight and raise recognition of the crafts in our field and educate the wider public – among other things about the fact that the way we eat has a societal impact.

We awaken pride in Czech (and Central European) cuisine. We believe that gastronomy is an inseparable part of our culture and identity.

If we stop cooking Czech food, we lose original recipes, techniques, and flavors – and with them part of our cultural heritage. That’s why we not only want to take care of authentic Czech cuisine but also present it to the world.
